Solar panels continue working when is raining or when it is cloudy, but the energy production is reduced and they do not produce at the same rate like on the sunny days. No, the panels only produce energy during daytime.They start producing as it lights up in the morning until just a bit after the sunset. Peak hours are between 1:00-4:00 PM.
Your house doesn’t need any special requirements, simply that there is enough space on the roof to place the solar panels and that they receive direct solar radiation without shadows. Our technicians can visit your property and perform a technical study to validate that there is no problem and that you have the necessary conditions. In all the installations that IbizaSunPower carries out, we pay special attention to aesthetic aspects, so tha tthe installation remains as most as integrated possible in the exterior aesthetics of the house. For example, we maintain the current inclination of the roof when anchoring the panels or even choose a low angle inclination on flat roofs for maximum discretion. It’s not necessary to install batteries, with the compensation of energy surpluses, you will be compensated in your electricity bill for the energy that you have left over. However, if you are interested installing a battery, you can contact us and we will analyze your consumption / production profile and recommend you the best option for your scenario.
Through the app you can monitor live the energy consumption of your property and energy production of the PV solar panels. Also, you have access to energy analytics and environment benefits that can be viewed by day,week, month or year. In addition we can install smart energy sensors and smart plugs that can give you more insights on specific consumers like: A/C machine, water pumps, lights, sockets..etc) or specific zones/areas of the house. If majority of the consumption is made fundamentally at night, it is possible that your savings will not be very high, although you can compensate and sell the energy that you have left over during the day. In order to start the installation works, it’s needed to obtain the building permits from the local Town Hall. Once obtained, the installation time will be of around 1-4 working days if there are no other complications or special requirements. Execution timeline will be discussed and signed before the start of the project. Ibiza SunPower is in charge of legalizing and registering the installation in the Self-consumption register with the energy company, you don't have to worry about anything. We have you all covered.

The installation of the photovoltaic is very simple. Ibiza SunPower performs everything with the greater safetys tandards and attention to detail to avoid and have the minimum impact in your property by fulfilling the most demanding security measures. The whole construction process is of a very short duration (usually 1-3 days) with a minimum impact in the interior of the house (main cable connections and prior electrical wiring if needed). At the end of the installation, the house will remain in perfect condition. Additionally, for the peace of your mind, all our installations have a 2 year warranty in which any problem that could arise in the time frame derived from the installation (for example, a little filtration in the roof) would be covered.
In most of the Local Town Halls exist bonuses in the IBI (tax upon Estate Real Estate ) of 30%-50% during about 3-5years, and in the ICIO ( Tax upon Constructions , Installations and Works ), for homes in which photovoltaic systems are settled. Definitely no! In reality, the famous “ tax to the sun” were variable charges that were applied on self-consumed energy to customers with an electrical power contracted of over 10 kW (the vast majority of the homes have a lower contracted power). Even so, with the change in the legislation - Royal Decree 244/2019 - the variable charges have been removed for the customers with contracted power over 10kw. In addition, compensation is now allowed for surpluses of energy (you will be compensated in your electricity bill for the energy that you export to the network, so the savings generated by the PV solar will increase significantly.
